Happy New Year! On behalf of the Committee, I would like to thank you for your support in 2023, and we look forward to sharing another great year of films with you.
We would also like to share a big announcement about a change in the venue for our screenings in 2024 and beyond.
After careful consideration by the Committee and lots of crunching of numbers, we have decided to return to the RSL Theatrette for the screening of our films.
Long-standing members will recall the RSL Theatrette was where it all started for the Dubbo Film Society. A recent visit by members of the Committee to the Theatrette has confirmed the equipment is suitable and the seating is still comfortable!
I invite you to renew your subscription for the 2024 season of films.
Note that the new start time for screenings will be at 1.30pm.
We are working around the Ode of Remembrance, read each evening (and audible in the Theatrette) at the RSL Club at 6pm, followed by a one-minute silence.
