  1. This film is no ordinary documentary, visually stunning and sourced from previously unreleased archival material much of which was shot on 70mm film.
I thoroughly recommend listening to a Podcast: Living History with Mat McLachlan broadcast on 18 July 2019 entitled “Moon Landing Special 4 – New Apollo 11 Movie” where Stephen Slater who was responsible for much of the archival mastery in matching audio material with pictures is interviewed. Absolutely fascinating and very revealing in why this is a very special film, the result of countless hours of dedication and technical wizardry.
